Looking for a fun, hands-on party experience? We’ve got you covered with our exciting craft or pottery parties – perfect for birthdays, hen dos, work events and special celebrations!

What can we do?
 

• Teddy Bear Making – £23 per child (Save £2 per person)
  Stuff your own teddy and decorate a T-shirt with fabric pens. Free bookmarks with every teddy party!
  These special bears are exclusive to parties and not sold in-store!

• Paint Your Own Pottery – price from £6.50pp, with no painters fee! (Save £3 per person)
  Gloss-protected and ready to take home the same day (no kiln required!)
   

*You will need to choose pottery and teddies in advance so that stock can be ordered in time.*

Can we bring our own food and drink?

Yes! We also allow bring your own booze (BYOB!).​

How many guests can we have?

Minimum 8 people - Maximum of 15 people (plus 2 guardians allowed for kid parties)
*Less than 8 people the shop will stay open to the public unless otherwise agreed.*
Viewing the space is advised! More than 15 people? We may be able to bring the party to you!

Is there a deposit?
Yes - there is a £50 deposit to secure the date and time which will be taken off the final bill.
For smaller events we do not close the shop (unless agreed) but give you exclusive use of two tables. 

Timings?
We give our parties 2 hour time slots, this is to ensure there is enough time for creating! 
Our teddy parties are age dependant, the younger the child the longer it will take. Time wise for our teddy parties 30minutes to 1 hour, then bookmark creation takes around 10-15minutes. 
Our pottery parties are also age dependant, the younger the painter means it will take less time! For kids around 20-40minutes. Older kids and adults around 50minutes plus.
We recommend arriving 10-15minutes before the party starts to add the final touches!

Layout of the party?
For our teddy party, once all is set up and everyone is seated a friendly host will introduce themselves and start showing the kids how to stuff their teddies! Once stuffed, they all will get a special heart to place inside the teddies (this gives it life!), then will be shown how to 'complete' the teddy. Once completed, the party will go on to decorate their own teddy t-shirts with special fabric pens! This bit tends to take a little longer, as they have to think of some pretty cool designs! Once completed, they get to dress their teddies! Then onto bookmarks! They will be given special acrylic pens to decorate their very own bookmarks.

 

For our pottery party, once all is set up and everyone has been seated, a friendly host will introduce themselves. They will go through all the steps on how to paint the pottery and aprons should then be put on. The host will be on hand at any time to help, but we find many people like the creative space to do what they want! With the pottery we always recommend 2 thin layers of paint, so that it can dry quickly in-between coats. There are some special acrylic pens that you can add some detail too at the end! Once dried, our host will take the pottery down to be glossed. During this time, we recommend a party break, for example cutting the cake. The host after all has been glossed will hand back to guests, ready for them to take home on the same day! (3-5+ minutes to gloss, depending on item).

Final bill?
The final bill will need to be settled two weeks before the date of the party, this is so that we can order stock in time.
